Two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Ramirez combines an encyclopedic knowledge of the news with a captivating drawing style to create consistently outstanding editorial cartoons.
"Editorial cartoons should be smart and substantive, provocative and informative. They should stir passions and deep emotions. Editorial cartoons should be the catalyst for thought, and frankly speaking, if you can make politicians think, that is an accomplishment in itself."

I’d say he’s been the opposite of “secure, undisclosed location”- he’s even willing to work with people, and give some credit to the opposition when due. When Ramirez can tell us who met with Cheney on energy- he might earn a cred himself.

Ramirez seems to have misplaced Obama’s ears. This is a really cheap shot quite devoid of wit. He is producing so many of them I get the feeling he is some sort of stooge for brain dead do nothing Republican interests.

Wasn’t that Bill Clinton’s promise?

Ramirez is the best cartoonist on this site–content and drawings.

He also said no more signing statements. Remember that pledge? But now, he too finds they have a use so he writes them. All Presidential candidates make campaign promises that they either never intend to keep or are just lying. Usually the media catches them but here with the love affair, less so. Here I think he genuinely thought Bush was wrong but after being in office realized that was the only choice he and Bush and Clinton etc had.
Has he closed Guantanamo? All the prisoners released or re-rooted? He has actually expanded our involvement in Afghanistan.
But the defenders of Bush say in all those things that Obama copies Bush who was right all along.

I love how BHO’s desk has only pictures of himself.

We need to pray Obama will be wise instead of just sounding that way.
“I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” -1 Timothy 2 (NIV)
