"Editorial cartoons should be smart and substantive, provocative and informative. They should stir passions and deep emotions. Editorial cartoons should be the catalyst for thought, and frankly speaking, if you can make politicians think, that is an accomplishment in itself."

Over in the corner is Bush with a dunce cap on and Cheney’s beating kids up for their lunch money out on the playground.
And in the private schools they’re writing “jesus” in all those spaces and learning that gays cause natural disasters and terrorist attacks.

At least he knows the Earth is over 6,000 years old. It also might be of interest that being IN government, it was when Reagan came in that “Spend more to get more” really got going, especially if you were building an airplane for the military that couldn’t fly. It was called “cost plus contracts”.

I don’t get it.
Is he saying Obama is dumb? That he doesn’t understand democracy? That he always wanted to be in government rather than, say, an attorney? Because I don’t think any of those things are even remotely true…

It’s fairly straightforward demner. According to the cartoon O’bama’s solution to every problem is more government interference. Whether you agree or not is your call. Despite some rather juvenile attacks on some opinions.

No demner–he is saying Baroke is in favor of big government governing, not leading.

HOWGOZIT: Actually, our government is supposed to govern, not lead.
