Two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Ramirez combines an encyclopedic knowledge of the news with a captivating drawing style to create consistently outstanding editorial cartoons.
"Editorial cartoons should be smart and substantive, provocative and informative. They should stir passions and deep emotions. Editorial cartoons should be the catalyst for thought, and frankly speaking, if you can make politicians think, that is an accomplishment in itself."

While the European and World press is increasingly being more critical, even derisive of the O’b, the American press is still sozzled with their success - the election of the One.
The third panel is superfluous.

Actually, I’m willing to give Obama his chance but I’m sick of the fuss too; about his wife’s arms, about his dogs, about his daughters…that’s all cool and fun, but that’s not what’s going to fix the economy.

Pardon me, but CNN wasn’t always anti-Bush. It was much criticized around the World around the first days of the Iraq war.
And when did Fox news stopped being mainstream?
Remember Jackie Kennedy; fashion fashion, fashion… but I still am sick of always hearing about what the first couple wears, there’s more to talk about besides that.
But on the other hand, mainstream tv news spends so much time talking about celebrities in rehab, accidents, damsels in distress, it girls, celebrities drinking and driving…I’m surprised they still talk about politics anymore because that’s not what sells.

I’ve said it before and I say it again: Make the news a non-profit organization.
