    A friend of mine decided to quit drinking and smoking for 2 weeks. He couldn’t figure out where all the extra money was from at the end of those 2 weeks until it was pointed out to him. Last time I checked he’s barely drank and completely quit smoking since then.

    One of the reasons my Dad finally quit smoking in 1967. He was scrounging under seat cushions for the few extra pennies he needed for a pack and saw me watching him (I was ten). He went down, bought a pack, threw it in the front yard and told the family not to touch it. He looked at it every day and walked past it until it disintegrated to nothing. He hasn’t smoked since and is now 90 and in good health.
