    No, I can see the point.

    In fact, I don’t even do Christmas anymore. It’s far too commercialised. I was never very fond of the religious aspect.

    Roald Dahl was right when he said that commercialisation takes the magic out of Christmas. (Well, at least in Japan, commercialisation doesn’t ruin the holiday season, because Christmas in Japan is a time for friends and family to get together, no tinsel or biblical strings attached.)

    Gee, Lila sounds a bit like me when it comes to holiday shopping. That’s why I do my utmost to stay out of the stores. It’s best for all.

    Well one can celebrate the Winter Solstice, Christmas, Hanukkah, Quanza etc without succumbing to the commercialization of it. To do one or the other is illogical when you can do one and not the other.
