What is truly important at this time of year is not about materialism and it’s not about being around loved ones. It’s about the birth of a savior ! When we finally remember that then we can truly celebrate Christmas.

It should be about loved ones and being good to one another. However, to do that, we also need to leave out THEOLOGY, too many conflicts associated with that.

So many families have such deep conflicts they refuse to put them aside ever. Very sad.

Oh my, Boyd’s wisdom today doesn’t sound at all like Boyd.

@Lawrencesmith1307: you need to take your issues with Christmas, as the acknowledged birthday of Jesus Christ Our Savior, elsewhere. This is a comic-strip, not a sociopolitical forum. Thank you.

I wonder why we’re not seeing Annie more prominently in this arc? Lila should be interacting with her as she heads toward Christmas…

Lila I know the feeling minus bartendars.

Can’t believe after all this time there are still questions like this. JWF had to discontinue the strip due to the light at the end of the tunnel being turned off due to financial constraints. All of the strips you are soon now are reruns of old strips. Some have been revamped with fresh dialogue but the strips running now are from long before Lila ever met Annie. I choose to believe that Annie’s cancer is in full remission and she has been hired to consult on cyber security issues by the federal govt. Lila’s still single but has focused more of her attention on being a mom.
