Is this “revised and updated”? I’m still not sure what that entails, but it’s certainly topical.
There should be Lila and Boyd Costumes. Older Boomers might mistake them for Rob and Laurie, which could be awkward if Hosts keep asking Boyd to fall over a Hassock, or try and coax Lila to cry, “Oh, Rob!!”.

Whatever she wears, it’ll will be skimpy, no doubt.
Women’s costumes seem to get skimpier every year. Not that I am complaining.

You’re right, it’s not a holiday, but it is the WORST afternoon of traffic here.

I will complain! As a woman, I want to get dressed up and look awesome without having my @$$ hang out all night. Now, if I want that, I can’t really buy one, but I have to make it myself. It’s a fun process that my step-dad loves helping me with, but it’s also a bit more expensive.

How unrealistic. Everyone knows gays plan for Halloween no fewer than six months in advance.

Halloween a holiday that isn’t treated as one. Maybe they should. I like it but I don’t dress for it.

Halloween is an evil demon-worshipping holiday. I’m not doing anything about it (except for stuffing myself silly with candy, of course),

No, it’s not. That’s fundamentalist propaganda. The roots of Halloween come from the Ancient Celtic celebration of Samhain, which was the time when supplies were cataloged in preparation for the winter. It was a time for one last fling before the snows set in. No devils at all. For further information on the true meaning of Halloween, go to this site,

How do I observe Halloween? I ignore it and eventually it goes away. Not that anyone asked.

ditto here…there are no kids here so I just put a couple of pumpkins with candles on the porch and enjoy the season of fallen leaves and the fecund smell of them all … fall is a lovely season…

Your step-dad helps you make a costume where your ass hangs out?
Fun family!

No, it is an EXCUSE to party and get drunk.
