   Love the strip, @ƹʅɗʘ! I actually am updating copy in the classic strips, but Annie is probably only in about one eighth of them and to try to piece together strips to continue the story line WOULD be hard work. Having more than a full-time job already and now taking care of a sick father would make it even harder. It’s just too hard to work so hard for no money. Perhaps the classics will generate enough renewed interest in Lila that I could go back to the current storyline, we’ll just have to wait and so. I’m so sorry to end the strip like this but in a way I did it to not give up hope!

   I understand how difficult it can be to take care of a parent. I had to do so for 2 years with my mother. (I didn’t have a job either unlike yourself.) I just hope things can change for the better for your to allow you to do some new strips from time-to-time.

    Good luck John, many thanks for the Lila strip, I have been enjoying it very much, and can’t believe how it has caught my imagination. I hope things go well with your father, and will keep a hopeful eye out in case you get to continue the Lila/Annie story arc. (UK fan)
