    Yeah, I am obliged to go along with that point.
    Mother-Father-Offspring being considered a discrete nuclear family unit is a very modern construct and hopefully will fade back into community familying again, whether or not they are genetically related.
    Or simpler: “to raise a child, you need a village.”

    So according to you before the Industrial Revolution most people lived in communal houses with extended family and fellow villagers as they tended to their farms and stuff? And nuclear families are a fairly recent concept? Seriously?
