Hey I’m the same way. We need to get away from the stupid people now and then!

I’m so disappointed - Lila drives a big 4-door sedan. I was thinking a Saturn Sky or at the very least a Miata…

The only place I’m ever in a hurry to get to is my lady friends house.
Even then, I want to get there in one piece.

well, if you’re going to get picky about it– she needs a rear view mirror and more leg room in the front……

and …one thing more annoying than someone who falls asleep at the red light:— someone who runs one.

If I were Boyd, who is openly gay, I would tell Lila to get her own life.

When Lila is at work doing customer service, she thinks everyone with whom she talks to on the phone is stupid.

Even if you don’t like the way some people do things, it is stupid to let that bother you.

When a person uses a credit card in a check-out line in a store, the person’s supposed to show an ID, too. But, that rarely happens.

My Bank Debit Visa Card has my photo on it. While it always works just fine in the card machines at the bank, it rarely works right in the Walmart where I shop. So, I have to hand it to the cashier and let the person swipe it for me in the reader slot on the keyboard in front of them.

Actually, Joe, I believe retailers are by contract prohibited from asking for ID. The credit card companies don’t want their users “hassled” any more than someone using cash. All a retailer is supposed to do is match the signature on the sales slip to the signature on the card. Of course, many retailers now waive that step as a time-saver for smaller amount sales. And of course many people don’t even sign their cards now out of fear of identity theft, which technically makes the card invalid for use (as stated right on the card– “not valid unless signed”). And if someone then steals the card, he can just sign it himself! It’s all fine usually, but if something goes wrong it’s a big mess.
