I get the distinct feeling that Lila’s starting to get fed up with the usual routine to which Boyd is referring. One day soon, she’ll actually do something about it.
..uh….Lila’s skirt changed from panel one to the one in the rest of the panels. But hey, who am i to pick? I just like to practice observation skills… :o)
Since Boyd is openly gay and is a handsomely drawn comic strip character, he needs to go to a club where he can make friends with guys who are the very same sexual orientation as he is.
Since they are together for more than 8 hours 5 days a week at work, they need to have their own lives on the weekends.
For 2 years, I did work for the very same security guard service and at the same plant that my partner, Ed, did. But, while he was my immediate supervisor, I only worked with him two nights a week. And, we were not together all of the time during each of those 8 hour periods on the same shift.
My official place was at the guard shack across the street from the guard house at the main entrance.
Ed did work the graveyard shift 5 nights a week. But, I had one swing shift and worked on Saturdays and Sundays.

Forget taking control of their lives – they need to start taking control of their livers!

Heck, I’m drunk right now! Three day weekend, my friends.
Er… so, what was this comic about again?

toast, maybe you should change your moniker to “toastedoven” instead of toasteroven. And then I’ll join you by changing mine to MisngScotch :)

You should forget drinking if you drink to forget.

Luv it, Rayannina! And I’m glad I could help you out with your observation skills, Arsmall. :-) Happy Friday, everyone. Have a great weekend!

You too, John.
I like the white skirt better. Then again I like skirts on pretty women.
Incidentally, I was once married to a gal like Lila and she had a friend just like Drew. I went a little crazy at times.

It wasn’t a change of skirt: it just got dirty…
