A designer who is exclusively homosexual in his sexual orientation and is also closeted isn’t gay in my opinion.

I don’t call a person “gay” (referring to sexual orientation here) unless he is comfortable with being exclusively homosexual and doesn’t mind being called “gay.”

It is rare for an actor who is openly gay to play a gay character in movies and on TV shows.

On some TV shows, men who are exclusively heterosexual play gay roles and men who are exclusively homosexual play the macho and/or womanizing straight roles.

Somehow, casting directors and show producers seem to believe that gays don’t know “how to act gay.”

Some clothing designers and home decorators who fit gay stereotypes are actually exclusively heterosexual.
