Hell? That’s merely the place of the dead, aka Hades, in the Greek Version of the New Testament.
Jesus used “Gehenna” as a metaphor for the Lake of Fire, the actual place of eternal punishment found in the book of Revelation.
“Hades” was used as the Greek translation of the Hebrew word “Sheol” and that was where all departed souls go.
