   Hi Toasterover – I just wanted to respond to your comment. Because “Lila” doesn’t really make any money, we’re admittedly stingy with the art. (First priority is the day job to pay the rent!) But I think, in this case, it’s funnier to show the same panel and just see Lila’s eyes moving. – John

   Toasteroven sounds like just another troll. I think today’s comic is perfect. Actually speaks a lot more that only her eyes move while Boyd “translates” for her.
   
   You know what I’d like to see … a troll actually do something good other than just gripe.

   oo, a troll! ……you have just described every single commenter in dick tracy…… EVERY SINGLE ONE

   I must admit I’ve jumped in there and made a comment about errors in anatomy or poking fun….but these characters are there only for griping …if there is something positive, (after all nobody is all bad or good) it’s credit will never be given…..it used to be funny reading their comments but…the constant barrage of criticism can be tiring after awhile

   incidentally, I never knew, until now , that JWF is one of the collaborators of ‘Lila” —I think it is so cool for these guys to jump in there and answer their critics…and it’s cool to know you guys care about what we the readers think & say

   I think it’s great, and appreciate the feedback to our feedback.
   Sorry to hear that Lila isn’t a moneymaker, John, but it is a great comic.

    I am a lot meaner than Boyd, when my friends would come to class hungover (my college days) I would wave my hands in front of their faces and say “Does this bug you, I’m not touching you!” I also would rent jackhammers go to their house and hammer out ACDC songs for their enjoment, no the last part is a lie, but it still sounds fun. I do not like the taste of alcohol or the full feeling it gives me so I never drink, so I make it a point to bust my lush friends chops at every opportunity.

All comments are helpful and I take them very seriously as I develop future strips. Just know that I’m about seven weeks ahead of you in case you don’t think I’m listening :-)
