    RE-ELECT NOBODY 2014, 2016, and 2018!
Seriously, there are WAY too many people around the country who think; "Yes, "Con"gress sucks, but MY guy is all right! We need to replace everybody there EXCEPT my guy!"

Unfortunately, since there are a LOT of people nationwide that think like that, NOBODY gets replaced, even though we ALL know they are ALL a bunch of incompetent idiots, bought, sold, and paid for by Lobbyists, Big Business, the 1%ers, and other sources of big money! You can’t point at one party or the other, since they BOTH have specialized in NOTHING but Obstructionism for the last

    6 years!

Just remember what was said about Politicians even as far back as the 1880s; “An HONEST politician is one who once he is bought, STAYS bought!”

Yes. My congressman and senators are both doing the best they can to do good work, against the total opposition of the GOP. We need a tax on carbon to save the ability of the planet to support human civilization. America needs a budget that adds up. You cannot maintain the aloof fiction that both parties are equally bad, they aren’t. The GOP are anti-science, anti-math, and anti-human; and their policies have been devastating to the country and the world.

To put it simply…the ENTIRE system needs nothing less then a good, swift kick in the pants, and preferably a TOTAL Nuking to shake EVERYONE out of their complacency, and get things back on track to where Government is OF the PEOPLE, BY the PEOPLE, and FOR the PEOPLE, NOT the Rich!

“Throw all the bums out and then everything will get better” is typical American wishful thinking and trust in simple answers. That kind of thinking hasn’t worked for complex problems in the past , and it won’t work now. The gridlock we are seeing is in part, in fact, due to that attitude that put in the freshmen representatives that will not compromise and have no idea of how to govern. Y’all really want more of that?

The national debt has increased by Seven Trillion Dollars since President Obama’s inauguration. This, added to our past debt incurred under Presidents of both parties and certain unsustainable commitments written into our budget, is why we are heading for default.
Republicans have by no means been perfect on this issue, but Republicans have made more efforts to address these problems than have Democrats.

Since our military has often fought to secure the assets and interests of corporations and the 1%, and many regulations in the banking/investment were repealed for their benefit, it only makes sense that the 1%, and excess corporate profits, and corporations that abuse loopholes and get away with paying NO tax, should be taxed! But, the Republicans have not, and will not allow their sponsors to suffer any increase of the tax burden.

This nation functioned best, for ALL, with a system of REGULATED capitalism.

Seems to me the ones advocating and supporting the “Obstruction-Do-Nothing (unless it’s EXACTLY What I Want, My Way !) NO-BAMA, No Compromise”…are the Neo-Cons…the NEW BLOOD (or NEW TEA) you seem to be promoting. If they are dogmatic, “My-Way-or-the-Hiway”, oraclular of the Party-line – from EITHER side, I want nothing to do with them. Many now, particularly on the Right, support the status quo in Congress out of “Primary Fear” – being displaced by radical candidates who will say ANYTHING (and spend any amount of money) to take away even the opportunity of compromise for progress on the Peoples’ business – which is being held hostage by a minority of the “loyal” opposition.
