Why would I WANT to talk to them? The vast majority are blithering idiots!
And if they think the same of me… well, all the better that I’m not trying to strike up a conversation, hm?

this is so funny! I love the monkey who can’t figure out how it works.
I love this painting, and the artist, Wuerker, did a colorful job with it.

I am >65 and have yet to see or meet anyone who walks and talks on the hand-held that I would have anything in common with let alone want to talk to. Those same dummies drive and talk. I hope the novelty wears off soon so we are safer in our cars.

40 years ago I took a few oil painting classes (using acrylics).
One professor assigned us to choose a painting and copy at least part of it, using the techniques the artist used.
I copied the part of this painting where the 3 people and the dog are lounging. Pointillism is the technique, and it is time consuming but not too difficult.

Of Course I know he isn’t the original artist! I’m just respecting his “take” on the painting. Copying masters is a good way to learn as long as you don’t take credit for the original.

Just lik PAJ, you know I’m a liberal so I am “fair game”.
I didn’t make a political comment, and I know he is not the original artist, but I had just come from a website on “Art” and was comparing how different masters had a slightly different “take” on illustrating the same things.
I meant no dis-respect to Mr. Seurat, it is just a cartoon that I like the was he did it.
It does Not speak of politics, only current events.
And I also appreciate the witty-ness of your answer. “Simianist”
