   Some people have the ability to pursue their dreams because of a gun.

   Enter liberal logic. Take guns away.
   This way those who want to do for themselves what the government cannot do will now be even more vulnerable.

   Some folks have had their liberty taken away at the point of a gun.
   Some folks have had their ability to pursue their dreams ended at the point of a gun.
   It works BOTH ways.

   Ban ALL Guns? Of course NOT!Help those who enjoy safe gun sports, and hunting to be able to enjoy their favoritepastimes?Absolutely!There HAS to be a common ground, let’s work calmly and rationally to find it!

    An exaggeration for the point of emphasis.
    I favor gun control…..think about it, what sane man does not ?
    What I hate is ignorance and fear – and there seems to be plenty of that going around.
    I favor non-lethal means of self defense – on a personal level – on a man to man basis.
    This is “at the bottom” of the defense chain…, now at the top…
    I also favor the use of the “atomic bomb” for national defense – as President Truman painfully did 68 years ago…This may be or may not be necessary again (Iran)…It is their decision…..

    And hunting….I applaud the hunters….I hope that they can wipe out the deer head in suburbia..

    The 2nd amendment is based on conditions of centuries ago..
    It should be repealed and rewritten for todays conditions.

    The other amendments were written at the same time, but you want to use that excuse just to rewrite the one you don’t like? Sorry, but a lot of us like it just the way it is. It can be changed by Constitutional Amendment. Give that a shot if you think it’ll fly.

    My wish is for the Senate to untie the hands of th ATF so they can do the job for which they were created.
