All those dry feet taking care of the folks back home, who wouldn’t need it if not for the ridiculous “embargo”. Maybe it’s time to end McCarthyism rather than worry about other defunct “isms”??

Just a morning’s boat ride from the tip of Florida is a place where medical costs are low and doctors plentiful. It’s Cuba. We will never have it that good as long as the Republicans have their fingers in healthcare legislation.

It’s racism against our brothers and sisters in Cuba that maintains the embargo. When Obama is reflected he will realize one of the Latino dreams and end the embargo so all Cubans can live the lives they are entitled to.

Our country’s policy towards Cuba is a perfect example of the Patterson Poo Flinging Principal:

    When you’re really angry
And you want to fling poo,
    Get more on them
    Than you do on you.

We have for years dealt amicably with far worse leaders than Fidel, brutal dictators even, but the embargo continues. Fidel Castro has outlived how many American presidents? We sure showed them, didn’t we?

Incidently, Cuba’s health care system is rated just one notch below ours. I think we are #27 worldwide and Cuba is #28, despite our embargo that prevents USA pharmaceuticals from being exported to Cuba.

The rest of the world’s relations with Cuba has pretty much negated any desired effect that our embargo has on them.

The embargo is not on the other side at all. Americans are more than welcome in Cuba, they’ll take your money no problems whatsoever. I’ve also been told that Americans who go actually request that they not stamp the passport to stay out of trouble and they’ll accommodate. Problem is it’s not that different from the other Caribbean islands except that the resorts serve horrible food.

No medicine in Cuba. Castro brought in a specialist from another country not part of his ‘perfect’ healthcare system. Once the wall falls see the exodus of Cubans to America. Maybe we could trade the hard core liberals who feel the call of communism 90 miles from Florida. So close yet so far away….

“Filthy facilities where patients have to bring their own towels, bed sheets, pillows, or they would have to lay down on dirty bare mattresses stained with blood and other body fluids.”

Yes, these are the “improvements” you and Democrats want to bring to our healthcare system, but Republicans are standing in your way. You’re welcome.

You mean they life they can afford to pay the elitists’ extortion for on the slave wages the republicans want to pay them?

How about getting your “news” and “facts” from a real source, not a two bit website set up by a guy with an ax to grind. There’s not much info about the site but http://www.whoismark.net/therealcuba.com
claims the site enjoys a whopping 499 unique internet users per day and is worth an eye-popping $5013.00.
    .
Hardly what I would call a credible site. But then again to you redumblicans all that matters is that it settles your indigestion from sucking down the regurgitated propaganda stew from your party’s talking heads.
