    Well, OF COURSE NOT!!
    The victims of Benghazi are NOT “Donating” Millions and Millions of Dollars to your Election Campaigns yearly, unlike the N.R.A.

    ^or Grenada, Nicaragua, Lebanon? But here at home, a large part of the problem is the NRA, and actually, typically, NOT even rifles, but the handguns the NRA defends much more staunchly than shotguns or long guns. To be more accurate, that would also “only” be about 32 gravestones a day.

    Dr. Comrade Matt Davies: M<ore guns in the hands of Americans than ever before in American history, millions of Amerilcans LEGALLY carry openly and concealed, tens of thousands of Americans own machine guns, artillery pieces and even tanks with functioning turret cannon – yet our murder numbers and murder rates are at over 40 year lows.

    Wow! Then let us start passing out fully automatic AK47s to every man, woman and child in the USA, then we can all be sooo much safer!!

    Davies, your point that we should regulate guns more is a little watered down by the pictures of Chicago graveyards. So – who is it now that runs that city?

    You have to look at daily deaths to get the full benefit of government control of the population. If you look at a larger time slice, you might include the millions killed by the governments that prohibit gun ownership, which will skew the intended sample more toward the reality, which is meant to be obfuscated for the sake of argument. The argument, of course, is that nobody can be trusted with power because all people are inadequate to the task of being God, but that government is above the people and can be trusted without question, or else.

    Just because somebody assumes responsibility for the duties of the chief executive and commander in chief of the United States of America does not mean we can hold him to any responsibilities that should naturally be under his purview.
    I mean, what if he were gay? Then we would just have to accept that how he does his job is how any gay person would do it and if we don’t like it then we are anti-gay.
    Besides, Rahm Emanuel has more of the blame, being the Mayor of Chicago, the black on black gun crime capital of America, and I’m sure he is just allowing the crisis to build so he can do good works by exploiting it.
    Yay!

    This cartoon is disgusting and way off base. Those that died in Benghazi put themselves in harm’s way for a greater good. Even though it is still a secret what they were doing in that little “annex”. They are not some mugging victim or senseless violence attack. The attack make perfect sense. It came on 9/11 and they wanted us out of the area. Did they win? Did we turn tail and get out? Did they suffer any ramifications for their actions? … At least you hope the murders in America got some kind of investigationi.

    @Joadtom

    There was an in investigation. The President was out of reach and on his way to, or in attendance at, a fundraising even in Las Vegas, and his alibi is airtight, with many witnesses. He could not have been party to this action, and in fact was of the opinion that it was a spontaneous response to an internet video that was offensive to the faithful of the local religion of the region.
    There is nothing to see here. Move On.

    Well, laws against open commerce have certainly done well in taking money away from the corrupt wealthy and made things better for the law abiding little guys.

    They told me that if I believe in them, that I would be too smart to be lied to. So I’ve got that going for me.
