Nothing lost in translation— it is that shallow of an allusion.

There is nothing more important than attacking the enemy and preserving the dear leader. The climate change hoax does both. It extorts money from the rich industrialists and serves as a distraction to avert the gaze of those unworthy to look upon the magnificence of the Glorious One.

To look upon the magnificence of the Glorious One as a mere commoner is certain death.
Avert your gaze. Avert your gaze now.
Look to the Earth as the Glorious One passes. For you are of the Earth, and are the dirt beneath the gilded sandals of those who carry his sedan chair. It is death to look upon the Celestial Master.

Maybe they can pin their hopes on Monica. That would be an irrelevant but refreshing change. Benghazi is getting to be so old an attempt to pin something on somebody that I’ve actually figured out where it is and learned how to spell it.

“There is widespread agreement that carbon dioxide content will rise 25 percent by 2000. This could increase the average temperature near the earth’s surface by 7 degrees Fahrenheit. This in turn could raise the level of the sea by 10 feet. Goodbye New York. Goodbye Washington, for that matter.”

Memo to Richard M. Nixon from Daniel Patrick Moynihan, September 1969.

“Still crazy, after all these years.”
    Paul Simon album from 1975.
