    Why does the Republican Party, the party that publicly espouses “Smaller, Less Intrusive Government” keep passing more and more intrusive, more restrictive legislation?
    Or is it that they only want “Less Government Intrusion” into what THEY want to do, like unlimited fundraising and the like??

    Why does the Republican party hate females?

    @Rad-ish

    It doesn’t exactly hate them. It wants to control them.

    @Rad-ish

    It doesn’t hate them, just as long as they are barefoot and pregnant, subservient to a man’s whims.

    but, republicans think that rape kits can eradicate rapes. and, that there are legitimate rapes and illegitimate rapes. and, they interpret a bible verse that says rape is god’s will.

    You know, “United Colors of Benetton” should sue the U.S. for maligning the word “United”… You want to live the the people in former Yugoslavia? Just say so and split up! Or wait for me to take my price, the thing given to me by the gods: the rule over ALL of the states. I have plans (mad giggle)…

    “Why does the Republican party hate females?”
    .
    I don’t think it’s an issue of hate. It’s an issue of pandering. They can’t be stupid enough to think that any restriction on abortion will stick, they have to know that it will be shot down. What they hope for is political mileage, being on record as “against abortion”, though I personally think you CAN be against abortion but want it safe and legal.
    .
    The war on gays is another example of pandering, though if you think about it the Dems do their fair share of pandering.

    Why does government, no matter to whose ideals they may pander, always grab more power and intrude more on individual rights?
    Maybe it has something to do with the time-tested axiom of power being a corruptive influence. If only there were some founding document to limit the harm that government could do in the hands of the poor lost souls who might gravitate like loathsome flies to the rotting carcass of freedom, there to spawn their maggots. Follow the worms, friend. All you have to do is follow the worms.

    Hurray for stereotypes! Without them, prejudice would be practically useless as a political tool.

    I don’t like abortions, but sometimes it is the more compassionate choice.
    All male groups shouldn’t be the ones deciding about women’s issues.
    Why is the government so big that it cares about things like this? I thought the GOP wanted small government.

    I was actually mocking Tiggers totally off the mark comment on the previous comic, “Why does Danziger hate females?”

    If by “babies” you mean fetuses then yes, I most definitely prefer controls over business, guns and drilling.
    .
    Those business controls affect Americans as a country, where anti-medical controls only affect individual woman and their freedom of choice.

    Any ideology that hopes to “make a difference” must impose its beliefs on others as the only acceptable way of thinking. Stifling the deniers just comes with the territory. Their heretical beliefs are rivals for power and threats to the supremacy of the True Elite Thinkers.

    Democrats are a great deal like the Germans of 1930. They espouse a certain set of beliefs in order to avoid reality.
    .
    Reality 1: At 20 weeks a baby can feel pain
    .
    Reality 2: Even in very liberal Europe they do not allow abortion after 12 weeks (that’s right 12 weeks) unless the health of the mother is at risk
    .
    Reality 3: If the baby can feel pain, and react to it, it isn’t a parasite, its alive, and that makes what the left wants something horrible to contemplate, and they do it under the veneer of rights…. isn’t that like slave owners rights?
    .
    Reality 4: Most women in the US want limits on late term abortion, most Texas women do and most Texans do.
    .
    So how is Europe more right wing then Texas again? And how sad is it when those extremists are the ones shouting down moderates on the left……
    .
    While few want Roe overturned, most favor some limits, oppose late-term abortions
