Inflation is everywhere. Yesterday’s C is today’s A. The brilliant students coming out of the American school system, few as they are, prove that no obstacle is too great when you are really determined and have the ability. As for the rest, well, in the immortal words of Judge Smails, “The world needs ditch diggers, too.” Can’t teach ’em, so pass ’em.

The big change is that American college graduates used to boost the economy and now they drag it down.

I don’t think it’s entirely their fault as much as a damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don’t situation.

I’m so fortunate to have graduated from college in Texas back when public higher education was practically free. Had I followed the same curriculum today, it would’ve cost $120k. That’s what “fiscal conservatives” are doing in places like Texas: creating poverty, debt and damned-if-you-do-damned-if-you-don’t futures for people who want to be educated.

Boehner and his “boys” want to raise it to 8.3%, but Obama may veto that. Yep, who hates kids getting education to advance our society? After all, they may actually study science instead of theology, so Republicans can’t have THAT!

I sorry but it the stupity of people like jesse jackson we want to inter grate schools. But instead of putting the poorer kids in smaller classed so they can get the help they need we want them in all classes so we can bring the students with higher I Q down to thier level so they will all be stupid.

Looking at your typing and English, you must have graduated in one of those classes you mention.

The only option is to dumb down primary and secondary education and raise tuition on higher education. Slop the commoners and make them pay if they want the good stuff.
