As editorial cartoonist for The Journal News in New York, Davies cuts to the chase on every major issue, deftly penetrating the spin and obfuscation to show readers what’s really at the heart. His caustic wit combines with a strong moral sensibility to render the complex comprehensible.

So O didn’t ASK Mitt to join him to discuss politics over lunch? The garbage can is filled with O’s failed policies.

If Obama wants the Republicans to demand an end to the tax cuts, he needs to do exactly what he did to the Republican health care reform plan: Endorse it.
The Republicans instantly hate anything Obama even considers supporting.

Can also be used with DEM and Great Society! And it chops, slices and makes Julienne fries! YOU need one for YOUR kitchen TODAY!

Let’s see, the recent Republican proposal is to lower tax rates on the wealthy by closing loopholes that can never be named because they won’t actually close them, and pay for it ENTIRELY with cuts to programs for the poor. Now that’s a nice reasonable compromise, and makes up for the beating the rich have been taking these past 12 years.

@Ms. Ima
Just for the sake of argument: why would you talk with Mitt Romney after he lost? He is no Senator, no Representative, no party leader in any official capacity anymore. He is a guy who fills up this tank at a gas station, rides a roller coaster and is quoted as feeling “extremely bored”. That lunch was just a “no hard feelings” thing, and maybe the President actually asked him something, but he – and by extension his politics and policies – LOST, and you don’t take advice from the loser if you’re the winner…
