As editorial cartoonist for The Journal News in New York, Davies cuts to the chase on every major issue, deftly penetrating the spin and obfuscation to show readers what’s really at the heart. His caustic wit combines with a strong moral sensibility to render the complex comprehensible.

^^Don’t you know we’re a nation of junkies? We go to Canada for our legal drugs, go to Mexico for the illegal drugs, and go to China for our cheap cr@p.
We’re dependent on the world now. Take care of us d@mmit!

^ You wouldn’t be if people wouldn’t want so much of all that crap.
But wasting and consuming is seen as a right. People hate Carter like he was a war criminal just because he told suburbanites to stop acting like four-year olds in a candy store and spend a little less. They love Bush because he told the exact opposite; “Go shop”.

^Its all up to what gets the tax breaks. If we gave breaks on cleaner energy alternatives people would be making and creating cleaner ways of moving around. But instead, we’re giving tax breaks on gas guzzling s.u.v. (as much as $25,000 lifetime of the car as depreciation for a small business) for being “light non-commerical vehicles” weighing a little above 6,000 pounds.
See why we’re so backwards?
