    Go back and catch the other two they are much better then this one.

    The Republicans got trounced in 2008 and their response was “No Big Deal!” They win a couple of elections and it’s “The American Public Has Spoken– We Are In Charge!”

    KEN: You need to step back from the Daily Kook.

    You can’t find any quote– from any Republican– that after 2008, the response was “no big deal”. You WILL find a lot of hand wringing, a need to redefine their message, and calls to stop being “democrat-lite” and cries of “elections have consequences”.

    Likewise, I haven’t heard anyone cry “We are in charge!.” I have heard a lot of analysis concerning 30% swings, and how it is the dems (and some Repubs) to moderate THEIR positions, listen to their constituents, or they will find themselves in the unemployment line. But nobody thinks the repubs are in charge. They are not.
