Or you could just stay in your own country.

    Just a thought.

Yeah, that’s what the Native Americans were hoping about our ancestors.

We, as Americans, are a nation of immigrants. If you are not of Native American heritage, then your ancestors came from somewhere else. By what right do you deny this to others?

Even the natives were just immigrants passing through. The only true natives to this land are the horses and other paleolithic creatures

Sometimes I agree with you. Other times you open your mouth just to change feet. This is one of those “other times.”

Wha? Um, I’m pretty sure the horses got here with the Spanish. Coranado and DeSoto.

And reportedly the horses led some tribes to become more hostile (raiding parties, etc.).

    Good cartoon and well done.
When amnesty first occurred under Reagan, it was supposed to be followed with laws that would make it impossible for illegals to find work i the USA. Congress watered those laws down in favor agriculture and other businesses hiring low income workers.
I support another amnesty program like the one done under Mr. Reagan, especially for those immigrants who have been working the USA as good citizens and neighbors and who have raised children here. However…
If we do not put penalties on those who hire the illegals to work in their factories and fields, the result will be the same and we’ll be doing this dance again in two decades.
The bigger threat to US jobs are people being brought to the USA on skilled worker visas who then return to their home nation to teach people at the US overseas factory to do the same work at much lower prices. I can’t remember the name of the program, but some of our other commentators were familiar with it as well.

We are not denying, we are just insisting they enter legally. But being a liberal you cannot understand that.

Nice try. The wild horses here are too healthy to be descended from the few the Spanish brought over.

Native Americans also came from somewhere else in prehistoric times.

“The original horses died out, before the Indians came here. All of the horses here were reintroduced.”
Wow, you actually said something true.

Conservatives never account for the fact that entering legally from Mexico to take the work that needs to be done is not actually possible under current law. Apply, wait fifteen years, see if you get through the line and if the job is still there, you’re still young enough to do that kind of work, and if your family is still alive.

Your ignorance is astounding. American horses DID go extinct, either due to climate change or over-hunting by early humans. The wild horses we have now were brought by the Spanish. Yet Zoid is attempting to ridicule Scott, who offers him the truth? Modern reality-free conservatism in a nutshell. Google “Native American horses.” The truth is pretty easy to find.

Please study your biology a little closer. prehistoric horses died out in the Americas about 11,000 years ago. All wild horses here are descendants of those brought over by Europeans which escaped and became feral. They are technically an invasive species.
