Even if Iran’s leaders were so suicidal as to launch a nuclear weapon at Israel it would have to run a gauntlet of anti missles that have proven very effective against smaller faster rockets. Since Iran has no known anti missle systems, Tehran would be helpless against Israel’s own nuclear weapons. The Obama policy recognizes physical attacks against Iran will only give support to a political/religious leadership that grows in disfavor with its populace with every month sanctions go on. I have no doubt Obama will provide Israel with every resource necessary to launch a conventional attack of aircraft and missles against Iran should their leadership prepare a nuclear weapon for test or launch.
I’ve only met five people from Iran/Persia, and all of them hated the government and loved America. We need to build on that love and stand firm against the haters in Iran, and in America.
Respectfully,
C.

Netanyahoo should be voted out of office next election. His big mouth is endangering the entire middle east. The alleged leader of Iran is a big blowhard who is not suicidal and cannot back up his talk. Netty is able to back up his talk and everybody knows it. He is a loose cannon puting everybody in danger.

What gives Israel or the U.S. the right to attack Iran in case they test a nuke? Where is that written? And why wasn’t it used against North Korea when they did their test? Or India. Or Pakistan? I don’t like the idea of a nuclear armed Iran but I would like to see fairness all around – including from Israel who have not signed the NPT and are hiding 200 to 400 nukes…

I don’t get this comic. My impression is that Netanyahu would be happy for Obama to strike Iran.

Some of the people here don’t seem to appreciate the audacity it takes for a foreign head of state to interfere so directly and aggressively with an American national election. (Which is really what this is about.) In this sense, Netanyahoo is not different than Ahmadinnerjacket: a violent, irrational foreign parasite.

That’s funny. Perhaps you can tell us all of the battles/wars that the Arab nations started by attacking the infant nation in 1948 that the Arab nations won. Little tiny newly formed Israel against Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Trans-Jordan, Egypt and The Sudan.
Yes ever the aggressor is tiny Israel struggling against every Arab country int he region trying to survive.

The fear isn’t so much that Iran will start launching nukes- it’s that Iran will start gleefully selling them to the myraid of terrorist groups who would love to go detonating them in Israel. These religious kooks apparently think God will stop nuclear fallout at international boarders- just like the nuts over here who keep yelling “NUKE IRAN”.
This kettle of fish is a lot more complicated than some people want it to seem.

It’s not his army we fear it’s the backlash from the pro-Israel voters in this country…and they ain’t all Jewish.

Religion poisons everything. Here we are in the 21st century and on the verge of a century of war between Chrisitanity, Judaism, and Islam over whose invisible friend is the right one and who can make the best blood sacrifices to him . Sad, sad, sad. Pathetic. Science, technology, communications have brought us closer than we’ve ever been to solving so many problems, but these pitiful vestiges of primitive times hang on like a disease.

46% of people polled in the Usof A stated they believe everything was created 10,000 years ago by a God.
For some reason this God wanted a multi-billion year back history to fool other people into thinking. ( the universe was more wondrous and intricate than it is.) Which then creates the question where did God and all “heavens” other inhabitants come from, and what created that ad-infinitum.
[leave out God, and there are still questions of where everything came from.]

Netanyahu wants the US to attack Iran which is a VERY bad idea. Plus the rest of Israel is against the attack as well.
