In 2008 a wave swept the Republicans from office and their response was “That doesn’t prove anything!”
Now they win two governships and they say “This proves that the people are tired of the Democrats and want us back in control!”
Remember the old Republican rule - “If you say something loud enough, and often enough people will think it’s true, which is better then having it be true.”

Ken, that referrs to Al Gore, not the Republicans.

I still think it’s laughable how the GOP thinks it has accomplished something with a win in “Virginia”

Loco, this toon has nothing to do with Gore politically :) .
