   The sad part is that I don’t think that Michael ever really came to the knowledge he was loved by someone. Just listen to how he described his father and how his father treated him. He was a wounded person all his life.

   Had a conversation this week about how his father leeched off of them all. And eventually MJ wound up with Quincy Jones and did his best work. Then it was the hangers-on that convinced Jacko to ditch Quincy which was his worst career move, and then those hangers-on leeched off him until there was nothing left. Truly the sad face of American fame. Smacks of Elvis and Marilyn.

    I don’t have anything that I’d like to use. I usually don’t even look at them. The Andy Capp thing caught my eye. I have a large collection of various newspaper cartoons and the early Andy Capp’s are among them. I don’t bother with the current incarnation. It’s been watered down.
