Marmaduke is America's most lovable Great Dane. Created by Brad Anderson, the classic comic canine has delighted newspaper readers since 1954. Marmaduke lives with the Winslow family, who, try as they might, just can't seem to get him to obey. Despite his antics, the playful pooch is top dog in the neighborhood and on the comics page, where he has endeared himself to readers in more than 20 countries. The daily panel also strikes a chord with pet owners, many of whom write to Anderson to comment on Marmaduke as if he were a real dog.

It must be related to Charlie Brown’s Christmas tree.

Well done, Marm.

Wouldn’t it be more fitting if Marm’s femur trophy tree was topped by a skull?

@Maxi_Haha
Whatever for? Dogs don’t chew on human bones, much less skulls!

I take it you have never seen a body after it has been inside a home that a dog has been trapped in for five days…..

According to the Bible, Jezebel’s corpse was devoured by dogs—bones and all.

Please. This is as VERY ugly bastard stepchild at best. CBC (no, not the network) is a work of brilliance. This shouldn’t even be mentioned in the same conversation.

I don’t understand why writer has trees talking about being a
Christmas tree.
You cut a live tree then it’s dead. So sad so many people are
still want dead trees for the holiday.
