    At least he doesn’t have to stand around watering the grass. I take an old hose, stretch it out and put small holes where the flowers and bushes are. It makes a simple watering system.

    Where do they live that they have to water the lawn in December? Can’t be Florida as I know how mucn ‘Marmaduke’ like snow.

    So now it’s a soaker hose. They were quite popular in the 70s.

    Aw, Marm is behind the times. Back when doggie’s strip was new, another comic strip star, Joe Palooka, bought a regular hose when his wife wanted a sprinkler or soaker hose. Instead of asking Marmaduke for help, he just put on his spiked golfing shoes and walked all over it!
