Every one knows Comubus’s first words were “Find me a Starbucks!” (Although I do prefer Tim Horton’s).

There’s probably a lot of stuff in the history books that didn’t really happen the way it’s presented in the pages. For example the old history books depict George Washington’s mother as loving and caring, and a stalwart ally in his success. New material surfacing only recently shows that she was an extremely difficult woman who always openly opposed her son, and he actually left home very early purely because she was attacking him.

George Washington never had children of his own possibly because his mother scared that instinct out of him.

This idea came from me, because I remember a kid in my 2nd grade class being corrected on the exact same mistake. My 8 year old mind already saw the contradiction. But I was only staying after to pound erasers that day. Somehow that didn’t seem ‘Maria’ enough.

Funny how they’ll crack down on you for talking out of turn, yet it’s okay for them to shove you into the spotlight, typically when you don’t know the answer.
