    Ok, enought, why are we always the bad guys?, why only dragon tails showus as e can be friendly too?, seriously, if you want to put something as the villain, put this, a MAN.

    @Neo Stryder

    Keep your scales on, Smaug. This is the only time this strip has shown a dragon. ;)

    @Neo Stryder

    I’m doing an new animated series (right now it will only be shown in the middle east but hopefully it will migrate here) where dragons are good.

    I have read several books in which Dragons were either the good guys or teamed with the good guys. There are also some where the dragons are on both sides. Evil may be a majority but not the exclusive alignment of Dragons.

    There was a children’s novel years ago about a dragon who, through a misunderstanding, had been banished from Wales, and is now trying to come back with a group of animal companions. He’s essentially a good guy. It had the unfortunate title of RETURN OF THE DRAGON. I mean, it summed it up fine, but that title was kinda sorta too associated with a martial arts movie. The author was Jane Zaring. It’s a charming, funny little book and worth seeking out.

    The film “Dragon War” is based around the Korean mythology. Very interesting. First in 1506, then in 2006. There are dragons of light and those of darkness.

    I think today’s art is wonderful! Nice dragon and what a cute knight!

    I did an issue of the Rugrats comic magazine a number of years ago, and the lead story was a fantasy with knights and dragons. I went to town on the cover, and the original art was bought by a man who collected anything with dragons. Glad I pleased him.

    You just proved my point, Smaug is a villian.
