like one time, me and chris, vern, and teddy traveled along the train tracks and found a dead body. then, a bunch of us(johnny, dally, soda, darry, two bit, steve, and tim rumbled with the socs. another time, is when i had saturday detention with athlete, brain, basket case, and a princess. another time is when my girlfriend, sloane, and best friend, cameron, took cameron’s father’s ferrari, ditch school, and went to a ballgame.

Some might say we still live in colonial times: Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa.

We didn’t mean it in the sense of colonizing. We just the time period we’ve come to refer to by that name. When the pro to-USA was a group of colonies. You know, Ben Franklin’s time?

This sounds like a blacksmith’s project, take some iron, copper, solder and silicone and hammer out a new modem from scratch.

Generation gap writ large with Maria sarcastically claiming “colonial times” for dad’s age. I would have sarcastically replied that it was “prehistoric times when we used stone knives and bear skins.”

Parents always say stuff like this. My dad would talk about his time in the war camps to say I had it good. But that didn’t change the fact I had no food and few clothes.
