Little kids still take baths. It’s easier. It’s not like baths are OLD and showers are NEW. Not everything is about “new technology.” Please, people, let’s stop the constant ‘Does anyone do that anymore’ stuff.

Concidering how Maria is, how shall we say, *"hands on"* I’m surprised she doesn’t takes baths more often.

I was just thinking that. “Bath day”? I’m hoping the little active girl bathes more than once in a blue moon

The concept of the once a week bath is an ancient one. I don’t know how true that part is, but it lives on in comics.

She does. She just fights it.

Showers are better, use less water, only need ten minutes.

My parents did not have a problem getting me to take a bath.
Bath time was just wet play time for me.

I imagine for little kids baths are easier. Put ‘em in a tub, let ’em scrub. Bubbles optional. Not so convenient for me. When your’e 6’1", the average tub is just too short.

I love this one! My oldest HATES getting her face wet, whether it’s a bath or a shower, so she fights them as much as possible.
And since my kids are too young to sweat very much, they only get showers every other day. So they do have a “shower day”, although it’s not the only one for the week.

Personally I prefer baths to showers — always have. Of course, I have a huge old claw-foot tub — and soaking in a tub full of bubbles is a treat.
