    Especially since you probably need references!
    (And family members count!)
    Suffering succotash!

    Hey! Succotash is endorsed by Sylvester the Cat! So, you eat it!

    @ghostkeeper

    “Sufferin’ succotash?” That’s an endorsement?

    Succotash isn’t bad. Except for the corn and beans.

    Right. Remove all the ingredients and it’s fine.

    Books have been written about the passionate reactions inspired by the idea of eating succotash (along with some other alleged “foods”).

    But I like succotash, and Indian meal from the Natives here.

    I liked lima beans when I was a kid. Then I stopped liking them, and can’t imagine why I ever did. Chalky things.

    I dislike limas too! Taste like I think dirt would taste. Blech! (but my kids eat them… hahaha!)

    I should add that they like them, so it’s not like I force them to eat limas. I think my problem is that I’m sensitive to many tastes.

    That’s a corn and lima beans dish. One of my favorites!

    Succotash doesn’t have to be made with lima beans. We always used green beans. Also added red peppers. I love it like that. I would not eat it with lima beans. (Why doesn’t my spell check like “lima”?)
