Something I just thought of . . . why do elementary school teachers ever have children of their own? I mean, you’d think the aversion therapy they get at work would preclude any interest . . .

Sometimes they don’t or it takes them longer to want them. My best friend is a second grade teacher and she had her 2 kids much later than I did. I think the only reason she wanted them finally was because she had 4 brothers and sisters and knew how much fun kids were.

Maria may not be the smartest student in the class, but she’s reading Ms. Payne like a book.

If I were Ms Payne, I would be seriously talking to Maria’s parents.

Marie should be visiting the Principle as often as Agnes and Calvin do.

Well, Agnes may push the limits of realism with the frequency of her visits.
