    And yet you can always be found watching 500 channels on your 60’’ widescreen TV! That’s just code for,“I want to watch my shows,now.”

    No matter what’s on today, I remain nostalgic for the shows I saw as a kid. Even when I see clips and they look more cheaply made than I could have realized. But there’s something to be said after all for not being able to watch whatever you want whenever you want. Endless choices only increase the risk of addiction to the act of sitting and watching.

    I disagree, Canada’s cartoons are rather good and definitely well animated.

    @Thomas Scott Roberts

    Why I got on DVD “Jonny Quest”, Herculoids, and others done by Hanna-Barbera during that brief window of super hero cartoons 1966-1968. Nothing like them before or since. I’m just missing their version of “The Fantastic Four.”
