Years ago we made a pact in our family not to do Christmas gifts anymore. It takes away 95% of the stress.

Every year my wife and I agree not to buy each other gifts – after 43 years, what’s left to give that can be bought?

And every year we find something that can be bought that the other one doesn’t have, but wants.

I agree; less stressful but also less fun :(. Although, this year I got fed up looking for a gift for my boyfriend because he gets anything he wants during the year! Grr.

Kinda reminds me of when I was little. Around November, I pulled down some Aussie mega hairspray from the closet and wrapped it up for my mom. She said “Thank you! I wonder where those went” xD
You guys ever do that?

Truth is, I don’t want any gifts. We just make cookies and have a nice dinner. I guess it’s unpatriotic not to spend ourselves silly, but too bad.
