    Wow, Howard U !…. Delta’s going places…literally!.And according to the map, only about… say… a couple feet away from Cali-forni? Not a bad commute!…

One of these days finally came for Bern- Bang, Zoom! Straight to Moony Uni!

And… uh… it’s nice that, uh…..well… If Lu turns in that parking app in time, she’d have the privelege of parking at a College that is the pride of the county!

Going to a community college Is an excellent place to start a college career…I began my college studies by taking evening classes at the local community college. Best decision I ever made…I just would not have been ready for a mainline university. I eventually went to university and graduated with a 3.9 GPA. Wouldn’t have gotten there without taking core courses at a CC…gave me plenty of time to enter the college experience with plenty occasions of how to study and be a successful student… ;)

…Yeeeeeah, that’s about right. Delta:Really Smart. Bernice:Smart enough, Luann:Comparing her to a box of rocks insults the rocks, so I won’t.

I agree with ORMouse. Actually teaching at a community college makes me biased, but they are great places to start one’s college education. Cheap, and if you do well you can get into a 4 year with help a lot easier than from high school, Plus they offer degrees that allow people to get good jobs after 2 years of school. So Luann is going to do just fine, and if Quill goes to Mooney, that is basically across town.

OK, I’ll ask the question: who is “Teena Keane”? ;)

I assume Quill will be going to Moony Uni to study with Mrs. Manezone? And Gunther will be a student at Moony all the way through grad school? The most likely candidate to join Luann at Pitt CC would be Knute, but even if he enrolls, he would flunk out in one semester. It’s time for Luann to meet some new people!

A short while back, Tiffany told Luann that she was going to Moony U. Knute might possibly end up going to a vocational-technical institute. I can imagine Crystal going to cosmetology school, unless she ends up as a cocktail waitress. It has been established that Quill will go to Moony. Gunther has stated his intention to attend Moony. Ox probably isn’t considered junior college material, unless he gets a football scholarship. It seems clear that Luann will meet some new people…

“It’s time for Luann to meet some new people!”

Yes, it does seem that Delta won’t be part of Luann’s circle of friends ever again. Bernice will be so caught up with the university experience and meeting new people that she’ll probably let Luann go. If Gunther is going to MU, he also will become involved in his classes…and will finally meet someone on his own level. Who knows about Tiff…she may or may not choose to go to college. Perhaps she’ll work in the fashion industry until she discovers what Fashion Design can do for her career. There are so many majors one can take in community colleges, it will be difficult for Luann to choose what she wants to do, but one semester later, she’ll have a solid idea of what and how she will complete her chosen course of study. And she won’t be under severe pressure to achieve everything right away… ;)

Not to fret,’s more important where you finish, not where you start!

“They eat at restaurants staffed by college graduates.”

Unfortunately, a lot of times this is true. It all depends on your course of study…I don’t think Liberal Arts studies are conducive getting a job…but having a serious history of volunteering along with a degree helps a Lot…JMO ;)
