And Frank’s not really being a downer! He’s doing his job, and knows his job…. And his girl….

Lu is celebrating enough for10 people, anyway! As a matter of fact, she can probably turn on the lamps in the living room with all of that unbounded energy she’s gotten…

I told you a long time ago, Frank – get her a nice robot you can program…

I have a sneaking hunch Frank is thinking about how he was when he was that age.
    .
Funny, how the things he probably got away with back then are now not suitable for his daughter…

    Luann! Sponsored by…
Downer fabric softener… from E. Orr industries… “Yeah, it’ll be soft and fresh…. If you like that sort of thing”….

Whatever frozen foods… "Yeah, yeah, yeah! It’s got nutrition in it!…… Somewhere in there…. "

    P. Semestic Art supplies… “We supply the world with bright and artistic stuff!….But, really…. what’s the use?”

    and by….
Surfacx Records… “As long as it sounds good! Worry about the rest, later!”

Frank is just being the disapproving dad. He has been this way before in how Luann dresses too. She ignores him of course.

Oh, you know how it is. “What was okay for me is NOT okay with my daughter.” Also known as “double standard.”

Well, at last……I would say it’s
    about time. Thank you, for
    bringing Quill back.

He’d probably have a lot more success with his daughter if he acted like she was intelligent and had good judgment. He acts like he doesn’t trust her for even one second. A father can’t live his daughter’s life for her so he may as well get in the game and help celebrate Quill’s return and perhaps plan a lovely dinner for him when he shows up.

After the last time, I wonder if he’ll remove the door off Luann’s room just before Quilly shows up…

Well I’m With Frank on THIS One.

And YOU Should be TOO, Nancy!

WHAT Is WITH You, ANYWAY, “Nancy-bot”??

When Your ADULT Son FINALLY Found a Gal, YOU had the CLAWS Out and was READY to LOCK Him Away in the Basement and BURY Claymore Mines in the Front Yard.
BUT that Your Highly Impressionable Teenage Daughter has Gone APE over some Pretty Boy, YOU are Ready to Give UNLIMITED Access To HER.

This Woman, I SWEAR…, Oh Wait, WAIT, I Just Figured it Out: If Something goes PREDICTABLY Wrong, It’ll be Frank’s FAULT.

    Carry On…..,
