    For some crazy reason, as soon as I read the last panel, I was hearing “Danger Zone” by Kenny Loggins…

    I think he doesn’t want to get in trouble with the family.

    Well Now.

    WHAT Were You Saying Nancy? Something about “Trusting”
    Luann?

    Will you walk into my parlor?"
    Said the Spider to the Fly;
    ’Tis the prettiest little parlor
    That ever you did spy.

    “The way into my parlor
    Is up a winding stair,
    And I have many curious things
    To show when you are there.”

    “Oh, no, no,” said the little Fly,
    “To ask me is in vain;
    For who goes up your winding stair
    Can ne’er come down again.”

    “I’m sure you must be weary, dear,
    With soaring up so high;
    Will you rest upon my little bed?”
    Said the Spider to the Fly.

    “There are pretty curtains drawn around;
    The sheets are fine and thin,
    And if you like to rest awhile,
    I’ll snugly tuck you in!”

    “Oh, no, no,” said the little Fly,
    “For I’ve often heard it said,
    They never, never wake again,
    Who sleep upon your bed.”

    Said the cunning Spider to the Fly:
    “Dear friend, what can I do
    To prove the warm affection
    I’ve always felt for you?

    “I have within my pantry
    Good store of all that’s nice:
    I’m sure you’re very welcome —
    Will you please to take a slice?”

    “Oh, no, no,” said the little Fly,
    “Kind miss, that cannot be;
    I’ve heard what’s in your pantry,
    And I do not wish to see.”

    She dragged him up her winding stair,
    Into her dismal den,
    Within her little parlor —
    But he ne’er came out again.

    .
    Watch out, Quilly – boy…

    Yep, a small campfire, just to enjoy a little warmth…that’s all they think it will be… before you know it, boom!!! Wildfires, everywhere!!!! Can’t play with the fire of passion! …… if it’s uncontrolled, it does burn….

    I’m with overtherainbow and webber. Quill has shown a sense of decency throughout the time I’ve read this strip going back to last spring. I think he’ll apply the brakes here…he respects Luann’s parents more than she knows how to control herself. Not the time.

    Even if Lu doesn’t go too far, the fact that the door is closed will not help to solidify any “trust” that she once had…
