There’s a matching set of Tiff-lamps in the first panel.

I’m not disconcerted by the technology that youn people use nowadays. I’m usually into it a year or two after the leading edge.
I’m more concerned about the technology that THEY will find disconcerting, that their kids will be using to bamboozle their parents.

A month or 3 ago, Quill sent Luann some Vegemite. I bought some yesterday (Friday) and tasted it when I got home. It is definitely and aquired taste. Back in the 50’s I saw Cid Ceasar do a skit on TV where he was a waiter in an Indian (south Asian) restaurant. Among the strange dishes he mentioned from the menu was something called “hock pooey”. That is what vegemite tastes like. BTW, Maybe Tiff should eat an entire jar of Vegemite.

Frank just learned the term “search engine” a few days ago. Brad mentioned search engine to him and he went to look under the hood of his car to see if it was still there…

Gosh, Nancy, knitting isn’t for out-of-date people anymore. Teens and 20-somethings knit like crazy!!! Oh, wait, maybe I should be telling Greg since Nancy doesn’t actually have her own brain.

Nancy has been in a real slump, and hasn’t picked up her needles since last November. That sweater isn’t going to knit itself!

I wouldn’t worry, parental units. At the end of the day, parents are the only ones garunteed to be there. computers and boys come and go. Parents are forever…unless they die. :(

Luann’s a big girl now. She’s got Quill & Google. Sounds like it might be Quill – instead of Mom & Dad – from now on…
