    Toni is Shanon’s Mother. That’s why Toni stuck with Dirk, because as Maury would say “…you are the father!” Do you think Toni would stay in an abuse relationship? She’s too tough and smart for that.

    Shannon has been described as Toni’s aunt since her (re) introduction. We viewers have even met Toni’s brother. So, if Toni turned out to be Shannon’s mother, why even go thru the charade of introducing the brother? And why hasn’t Dirk ever mentioned a kid before?

    I would think that Toni was Shannon’s mother, too. It would spice up the story line. But a few things don’t fit. Shannon is not there ALL of the time. Dirk never mentioned Shannon being his kid. Shannon even looks more like Toni’s brother than Toni.
