   With 9,000 miles between them, it will not matter how much a couple of non millionaire 16 year old kids love each other. It will be nothing more than a lot of e-mails back and forth, and sooner or later, there will be another boy and girl show up and they will each be consigned to a fond memory.

   What changed Brad’s life forever was his decision to become a fireman/fireperson/firefighter, whatever the politically correct term was determined to be. Toni is one of the results of that decision. Plus, losing his Potato Head did not hurt.

   Yeh, makes sense to me. He’s waiting for her to tell him she loves him & she’s waiting for him to tell her he loves him and both of them are waiting into old age and other partners. How is ‘Bonehead’ spelled??

   I tend to agree and in Luann’s case that wouldn’t be good. Some people naturally assume that no feedback equals bad feedback (“no news is bad news”). Luann is almost certainly one of them.

   Brad, do not spend a lot of time trying to understand women. In my extensive travels around the universe, no being I have encountered so far has totally understood the human female.

   On the other hand, there are questions that can be answered far more easily – such as the age old question, “What is the meaning of life?” Quite simply, looking from the outside and broken down to its simplest terms: Just a bunch of carbon – based life forms that spend the entirety of their existence moving things from place to place.

   Toni contradicted herself. According to her comments in panels 1 &3, her saying “I love you” to brad first made it authentic therefore making Brad’s response possibly insincere, “being nice” to unquote Toni. Does Toni even realize what she is saying? And apparently Brad hasn’t caught on.
   However, it is easier to assess the sincerity saying it to a face rather than on paper or email or text. Hopefully Luann will opt to go the Skype route.

    Isn’t Luann telling Quill she loves him the same as Toni telling Brad she loved him? Did Brad hate Toni for telling him she loved him because Toni was forcing a response?
