    If my late mother were reading this, she’d be sad too; she was a cat person. We had to put down our old cat before our family summer road trip in ‘98.

    We had to put down a cat in the summer of ‘98 too. It was a very terrible experience. And giving up kittens for adoption is really terrible too, because you miss them so much.

    I have a dog, and we are going to have to put him down on Tuesday…so this one means a lot to me.

    @ turquoise Sorry to hear that, that is so hard. My daughter loves animals and has a zoo. She’d love to be a vet but can’t face the thought of having to put a pet down.
