Malgorth: “Sounds like a plan. You and me, tonight. We bring down a Gilogoro, and then we’re the only ones with fresh meat for breakfast tomorrow.”
Gouger: “What do you mean ‘we’, Paleface?”

‘Twas brillig…. But I’m sure Malgorth and his (somewhat rag-tail) band can cope with a few nocturnal Gilogorgos.

Hmm. Is Gouger a potential rival for Malgorth’s leadership posistion?

Not sure if it’s been mentioned here, but Roses and Revolutions have a youtube video that uses one of Kory’s illustrations. These Walls
It was posted 4 months ago, so this may be old news.

With all this “kicking in the essentials,” I have formulated a theory about why these orcks do not father many children…

Gouger might be one to watch, Malgorth – seeing as how he’s quick with the blade and all.

@NightGaunt49 – “It shows us that they have a finer feel on things. Rather like Klingons who are space faring barbarians.” Absolutely! You have never experienced Shakespeare until you have read him in the original Orckian!

Maybe I R confused but I thought the Orcks was supposed to be the nastiest nasties in the dark. But if there be Gilogorgos in the dark too. Then it can only be assumed that Gouger is just baiting his master into a trap, by inflaming his masters ego, for reasons of his own. So tune in tomorrow ,when we hear Malgorth shout “Its a Trap” same Orck channel same Orck time.

…hmm, no sympathy for Malgorth on the quality of his troops – obviously, he’s been spending his own off-hours practicing his artwork instead of whipping his troops into shape…tells you a lot about him…

Though that sounds plausible, you would still have to ask why it took so long for Malgorth to sire a son. I mean, who would have the — er, vitals — to do likewise to him? At least in the present; he might well have endured such treatment when he was much younger and unable to defend himself.

As for Gouger, it also struck me that he could be a potential rival for Malgorth’s authority. Certainly that sly expression suggests that he may be up to something that could potentially derail Malgorth’s plans. But don’t forget about Kurtz; one should always be wary of those who crave power. I suspect that he will engage in machinations of his own, if he hasn’t already started. And I believe that at some point Malgorth will pay dearly for having underestimated Kurtz.

    Cor,

I notice the same hooked shape moon in today’s artwork that was on the Derring Dan image you posted yesterday.

You were much quicker on the uptake than I was. And I should have caught on right away, because the Phantom Cruiser has made several appearances in LSoS:

    November 14, 2010

    December 8, 2010

    November 17, 2011

    March 2, 2011
