If I could sew well enough I would make a Kreelit rag doll to hug! He is marvelous and lovable.

Sphinx followed, but was instantly in front. Run, Sphinx! Don’t stop ’til you get to Bill!

A sigh and a breathe in the cool night air. What is it going to take to get Twila back to her normal self?
And then the waiting to see Lucius bringing some more kids or if they can walk or run behind him.
and the rest of the magic to come!

People often describe neckties as workplace hazards, but they never discuss how ties can throw off your spear chucking. I’ll let OSHA know about this one.

And just remember, you can fill out the customer satisfaction surveys online from the comfort of your own home, and print out a coupon at the same time for $1 off your next purchase of a Slynderfell’s Cavalcade (offer good only on 1 gallon containers or larger).

So, as it turns out, Kleguelo’s Seuss-tie is a Chekhov’s gun, the essential means by which Kreelit drags him off-stage. Off-stage? Is this whole story a play upon a stage that we are privileged to be watching in its first-run?!

I suspect that what Kreelit asked was that they wouldn’t fulfill these forms online, either, because he knows it would have a bad effect on factory’s image.

They really should let poor Sphinx fill out one of those surveys : D just to make her feel a bit better about her entire horrid ordeal… (“For the love of all that’s sweet and sugary” is going on my list.)

@sukiec – If you could sew well enough, I’d beg you to make another one, and I’d buy it from you. ♥Kreelit♥

He who lives by the Cat-In-The-Hat tie dies by the Cat-In-The-Hat tie.

“Kreelit, you’re not much better, although you do seem to have a vestigial conscience…. "

“He doesn’t have a conscience. He’s just a cowardly weasel.”

Those are a couple of comments that I pulled up from when Kreelit made his first appearance. It bothered me at the time, though I can see why those readers reacted as they did. On the surface, it did seem as if Kreelit was simply one of those who quietly followed orders without question, who avoided rocking the boat at all cost. Yet I sensed, knew, that there was more to him than that, that he was profoundly disturbed by the evil perpetrated in the factory, and his own complicity in it, but rightly feared that trying to stop it would put him in great danger. So he went along with it, however reluctantly, for all those years, until the events of this night put him over the edge, and he declared, this doesn’t settle — and went ahead to do the right thing, come what may. And I am gratified, as always, when I realize that faith in one of my favorite characters has been justified.

I’ve often wondered if we’ve seen the last of them (in this story, anyway), and whether they might still be lurking nearby. If they are, they’ll definitely kick things up a notch, or several — as if there isn’t more than enough agitation at the moment.

I’ll bet that Kreelit has uttered that line countless times to departing visitors; it’s amusing how, even at the peak of the pandemêlée, he adheres to longstanding custom — except please, for pity sake — don’t fill out the ruddy surveys!! One of those nicely humorous touches we often see in LSoS, even when matters are most grim.

And I see I’m not the only one who has longed for a Kreelit doll.
