    What’s wrong with nineteen?

So even Lucius fell into this trap. I was hoping for some drama like him understanding the game and stabbing Twila at once and Rufus blowing off his head at that.

And that’s a wrap for the weekend! Man, I can’t wait to see what happens on Monday!

Maybe it IS Twila. If the bogey did decide to ‘run a dodge’, wouldn’t he have sent a look-alike of Rufus’ daughter? He is the strongest member.

A Rufus’ daughter look-alike? Man, the kid’s only thirteen and already he has a daughter? I wonder why Lucius had been waiting around so long before having a kid himself, then…

As the group stood around and discussed what to do next, Twila crept over to the drain mouth and started lapping the liquid flowing out. “Want to try some?” She asked Rufus. “It’s really sweet!”

Rufus may ask Twila a question about Rufus’ Cafe that Twila cannot answer.

Yes, I did mean Lucius. That’s what I get for posting before coffee.

If this is True Twila, how did she get away from wherever Flimm had her stashed? Is Flimm that much weakened? Lucius, in any case, seems properly cautious. Once Rufus and Twila (if she is Twila) gain their composure, our troop can set about going after the Big Bad Nasty….

I suspect she’s really Twila, but (also) really bait. Love the malevolent faces in the ground.

Or maybe I’m just seeing things…

She’s under the influence of somebody, if she really is Twilla and not a disguised Verminosh. If she were herself, I’d expect some positive emotion at the sight of her brother and his friend.
I’m eagerly looking forward to the next strip, but Monday can wait. TGIF.
