Kreelit: [thinks] “It’s too cute to just be minced. I’ll pack it with halite and put it in my room, next to the cat.”

Will Kreelit turn out to have a heart (or two on the side) to spare for poor Goatsucker? Will Freezer Burn Management be sufficiently incompetent to allow Yellow Jacket and the good guys to arrive in time for…something?
While I wait over the weekend, I’ll amuse myself by trying to think up adequate punishment for Phintesmo Blyme and the WBG….

The world has gone from shades of grey
    To color once again
But brilliant hues, have not imbued
The life back to our friend
Our Goatsucker, who once was scorned
    How noble was her end
Her passing will be doubly mourned
    By folks real, and pretend..

I’m liking Kreelit more and more… and am still hoping for a grand entrance for Oggalulu, too!

But is she gone? Can we be sure?
Is there no room for hope?
Perhaps the blade, in one so pure
caused no more harm than soap.

Our little friend, once feared, knew only scorn
But with these, Adam’s children, something new was born
A heart so brave and small, fought only to survive
Then grew at the peril of these few
    Another reason to thrive.

And the Freezer Burn Management Staff, sluggadallies every one, put the small, spiny body into a burlap sack and drew straws to see who would have to carry it to the storeroom. It was dumped next to another burlap sack, which shouldn’t really have been there, either.

When the light went out and the door clanked shut, a soft, rather disoriented groan escaped the new sack. “Mew?” answered the second…

Happy weekends to one and all! : ) Happily looking forward to Monday morning…

I think that’s “popped” rather than pooped. Even a bigger mess that way.
